Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman along with other GCC countries are experiencing a rise in temperatures this period of time, yet there are some places that are seeing mild weather; take for example Al Jabal Al Akhdhar.
According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NSCI), 75, 867 people, including 16,476 Omanis, visited Al Jabal Al Akhdhar by the end of May, reflecting noticeable turnout to the place.
In figures released by the NCSI, it showed that Saudi and Kuwaiti tourists topped other GCC nationals, who visited Al Jabal Al Akhdhar as the number of Saudi visitors stood at 1,938 while Kuwaitis were 493.
