Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), represented by the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre, held a meeting with the coordinators of the national emergency management system to discuss the latest updates on the tropical condition Biparjoy at the Arabian Sea, on Wednesday.

The tropical storm "Biparjoy" situating 1,140 km from the coasts of the Sultanate of Oman has intensified into a category 1 cyclone, the Oman Meteorology Office said on Wednesday.
