Muscat: The North Al Batinah Municipality has taken stringent actions against a poultry farm found to be in violation of maintaining safety standards. This came following a viral video clip, in which a citizen reported health–related violations by a poultry farm in North al Batinah Governorate.
In an online statement, the municipality emphasised it keenly followed up on the incident and formed a work team to visit the spot. Legal measures have been taken against the violators, the municipality stressed.
Meanwhile, the municipality has urged citizens and residents not to deal with random and unlicensed slaughterhouses, and to report any violation through the municipality’s hotline, social media accounts, and whatsapp ‘Hat Auloomak’ service.
