23 expats arrested in North Al Batinah

Suhar: The Coast Guard Police at the police command of North Al Batinah Governorate, seized a fishing boat and arrested 23 people of various Asian nationalities while attempting to exit the country illegally.


Legal procedures against the arrestees are ongoing.


Meanwhile, the Directorate-General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation, arrested two Arab nationals for smuggling five people of African nationalities into the country.
