Oman condemns storming of Qatar Embassy in Sudan

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its condemnation of the storming and vandalizing of the embassy of Qatar in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.


The Foreign Ministry stressed its firm position and rejection of any action targeting diplomatic missions and the need to protect diplomatic buildings according to the norms and charters that govern and regulate diplomatic work.


Meanwhile, Qatar Foreign Affairs in a statement said that the embassy staff had been evacuated previously and that none of the diplomats or embassy staff were subjected to any harm.
