His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan met on Friday Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the 32nd Arab League summit being hosted in Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they spoke about the bilateral relations between the two countries, developments in the war in Ukraine and ways to achieve peace in accordance with the rules of international law as well as respect for the sovereignty of states, good neighbourliness, and peaceful coexistence among all countries and peoples.
On the Omani side, the meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, Dr Said bin Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, and Khalifa bin Hamad al Badi, Adviser at His Highness's office. On the Ukrainian side, it was attended by a number of senior officials. - ONA
