HH Sayyid Asaad leaves for Saudi Arabia to participate in Arab Summit

Muscat: HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan has left here on Thursday to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to lead the Sultanate of Oman’s Delegation in the 32nd Arab Summit, due to be held in Jeddah tomorrow (Friday).

HH Sayyid Asaad and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Dr Madiha Ahmed al Shaibani, Minister of Education, Dr Saud Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Qais Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Dr Mohammed Said al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs and the Charge d’Affairs at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia.

HH Sayyid Asaad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr Abdullah Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Dr Said Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Abdullah Nasser al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, HH Sayyid Faisal Turki al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the two advisors at the office of HH Sayyid Asaad.
