MUSCAT: Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Za’abi, Secretary-General at the Ministry of Defence, received Lieutenant General Kim Sung-kyeom, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Republic of Korea, and the military delegation accompanying him, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.
Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Za’abi welcomed the guest and his accompanying delegation. During the interview, issues of common interest between the two sides were discussed.
The meeting was attended by senior officers of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), as well as the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, and the Military Attache at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Muscat.
Lt Gen Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of SAF, also received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa, Lt Gen Kim Sung Kyum and the military delegation accompanying him. During the meeting, cordial conversations were exchanged, a number of military issues were discussed, and issues of common concern were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al Manthari, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, and the Military Attache at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Muscat. — ONA
