GHAZA: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Foreign Ministry, condemned the aggression launched by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip and its raids on the West Bank city of Nablus.

The Sultanate of Oman expressed its deep condemnation of this unjustified escalation that constitutes a clear violation of international law, the Security Council resolutions and international legitimacy.

The Sultanate of Oman called on the international community to take deterrent measures against Israel to stop its repeated aggressions against the Palestinian people, stressing the importance of abiding by the international resolutions and reiterating its firm stance towards the Palestinian cause that calls for Israel’s withdrawal from the occupied Palestinian territories to the 1967 borders and enable the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital based on the principle of the two-state solution and the Arab peace initiative.
