Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its condemnation of Israel’s continuous, provocative and illegal practices. It rejected Israel’s enabling one of its hard-line officials to enter Al Aqsa Mosque compound under the occupation forces’ protection. Oman stresses that this action constitutes a provocation of Muslim feelings and a violation of the International Law.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman called upon the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards protecting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, ending the occupation of Palestinian lands and establishing a fair and comprehensive peace.
