University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS-Nizwa) is fully geared up to launch the activities of 20th Students’ Forum from tomorrow, May 8-10, at the Oman Across Ages Museum in Manah.
The opening ceremony of the forum with the slogan “Digital Horizons” will take place under the auspices of Dr Said bin Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, and the Vice-Chancellor of UTAS Dr Said al Rubaie along with delegates, faculty and administrative members from both branches of UTAS-Nizwa. A number of sessions will be held on the opening day while the second day will witness lectures besides the main competition ‘Hackathon.’
On May 10, the final day of the forum, sessions for wrapping up the event will take place. The results of the whole forum will be displayed to attendees and rewarding the outstanding performers in various competitions will take place.
It is worth mentioning that the participation of students’ projects and works from different branches of UTAS will be evaluated and presented in the Exhibition Hall of Oman Across Ages Museum during the three-day event. Extensive preparations have been made by the organisers for this long-awaited event.
