South Al Batinah celebrates Teacher’s Day

RUSTAQ: The Directorate-General of Education in the Governorate of South Al Batinah celebrated the Omani Teacher’s Day on Thursday, under the auspices of Nasr bin Hamoud al Kindi, Secretary-General of Royal Court Affairs.


Dr Nasser bin Salem al Ghanbousi, Director-General of Education in South Al Batinah Governorate, in his speech spoke about the efforts made to advance the educational process and the role played by the teachers.


The celebration included plays and a visual presentation of 47 educational initiatives from among the various educational schools of the governorates.


The sponsors also honoured 261 teachers, administrators, supervisors, specialists, technicians and winners of educational events for the 2022/2023 academic year.
