Abdullah bin Zahran al Barashdi, the educational supervisor in the Center’s Educational Affairs Department, in his speech said: “Today we celebrate the teachers of the Islamic Sciences Institutes and the Holy Quran Schools, and the Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers, in honour of those who excelled to give their best for the students."

He added that Oman Vision 2040 stressed the importance of education, and gave it utmost care and importance, believing in its importance in representing the first building block in progress, development and prosperity.

He explained that SQHCCS, represented by the Department of Educational Affairs and Training, had been celebrating Teacher’s Day each year for the great role it plays in the Holy Quran Schools, Islamic Sciences Institutes and the Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers. - ONA
