Aloft brand opens the first hotel in Muscat

Muscat: Aloft, the global hotel brand owned by Marriott International, has opened its first hotel in the Ghala area of Muscat.


A brand of Marriott Bonvoy International, the hotel comprises 193 guestrooms with high ceilings and is furnished with amenities such as a 50-inch LED TV.


Dr Aadil Thomas Alexander, Executive Director, Al Adrak group of companies, said, "As we launch this project for the first time in the Omani market, we were keen to develop a new, unique destination by employing the long experience that we gained over 35 years in the field of real estate development.".


He added that Aloft Muscat represents a modern destination for networking, and meeting people and added that the hotel will be an ideal starting point for travelers to explore the beauty of the city of Muscat and the most prominent other distinctive places in the Sultanate in general.


At the Remix Lounge, visitors can enjoy a game of billiards while playing music all day long.


Other amenities include multiple dining destinations including Aloft's signature W XYZ Lounge, an outdoor arcade space that serves a selection of delicious international food and beverages with a varied menu of signature fast food.
