SALALAH: His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar, performed the Eid al Fitr prayers at the Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah.
A number of royal highnesses, members of the State Council, members of the Majlis Ash’shura, shaikhs and dignitaries of Dhofar Governorate, citizens and residents performed the prayers.
The worshipers were led by Muslim bin Ali al Musahli, an imam and preacher at the Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah, who in his sermon greeted the faithfuls on the occasion of the fasting month of Ramadhan and the happy celebration of Eid. He highlighted the values learned during Ramadhan, such as solidarity and compassion among Muslims.
Their excellencies, governors of Dhofar Governorate, performed the Eid al Fitr prayers in the Eid prayer halls in the governorate’s wilayats, in the presence of shaikhs, citizens and residents.
TAQAH: Shaikh Tariq bin Khalid al Hinai, Wali of Taqah, performed the Eid al Fitr prayers at the Sheikha Salma Mosque, after which he received in his office well-wishers from citizens and residents on the occasion.
THAMRAIT: Ahmed bin Hamad al Maawali, Wali of Thamrait, performed the Eid al Fitr prayers at the prayer hall in the presence of a shaikhs and a large gathering of citizens and residents.
After the Eid sermon, the Wali of Thamrait received well-wishers comprising of citizens and residents and congratulated them for Eid.
SADAH: Ahmed bin Ali al Darei, Wali of Sadah, performed the Eid al Fitr prayers at the Sadah Mosque, in the presence of excellencies, shaikhs, and citizens and residents. The Wali of Sadah exchanged greetings with the worshipers, seeking the blessings of the Almighty God to return the occasion to everyone with goodness, and blessings.
MIRBAT: Hamdan bin Hamad al Junaibi, Wali of Mirbat, performed the Eid al Fitr prayers at the Jameh Mosque in Mirbat, in the presence of shaikhs, and a gathering of citizens and residents. After the Eid sermon, the Wali of Mirbat received well-wishers from citizens and residents at the multi-purpose office hall of Mirbat and extended his greetings on the happy occasion.
AL MAZYOUNA: Muslim bin Muhammad Zaabnot, Deputy Wali of the Wilayat of Al Mazyouna, performed the blessed Eid al Fitr prayers in the Eid prayer hall, in the presence of shaikhs, citizens and residents. The deputy governor exchanged greetings, congratulations and blessings with the worshipers, asking the Almighty God to return the blessed occasion to everyone with goodness, and blessings. — ONA
