Three more hospitals to come up in Oman

MUSCAT: The Secretariat-General of the Tender Board floated tenders for the construction of Al Falah Hospital in Al Sharqiyah South Governorate, Al Nama Hospital in Al Sharqiyah North Governorate and Samayil Hospital in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.


The construction of these hospitals is based on the Royal Directives issued by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and was included into the Tenth Five-Year Development Plan.


Al Nama Hospital, to be constructed in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, will serve some 115,000 people while Samayil Hospital will serve 38,000 people. Al Falah Hospital, will serve the wilayats of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan, Al Kamil W'al Wafi and Jaalan Bani Bu Ali.


The new hospitals will comprise specialised departments, outpatient clinics, emergency departments, CT scan and x-ray departments, medical laboratories, intensive care units, dialysis units, among other facilities.
