Over 2,700 blood donors needed during Ramadhan

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services has said that the Central Blood Bank will need more than 2,700 blood and 260 platelet donors during the holy month of Ramadan.


Blood donation timings during the month of Ramadhan will be from Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, and in the evening period daily from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm.


The Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH) blood bank is available during working hours from Saturday to Thursday.
