Muscat: The Central Blood Bank appealed to those with blood groups (A) negative and (B) negative, to urgently donate blood on Saturday at its headquarters in Bausher, as a result of the sharp drop in the stock level of these two groups.
At the same time, the director of Blood Bank Services praised the role of donors and said the increasing number of blood donations is due to community awareness of the importance of blood donation, as well as the media bodies in conveying this humanitarian message.
To register as a donor or register to donate blood, use the 'Register as a donor' button in the Blood Bank application and find out information about blood donation campaigns.
Interested donors have to log in to the eHealth portal by clicking on the login button at the top of the page and they have to register as a donor to register to donate blood, use the "Register as a donor" button in the Blood Bank application.
