Al Dakhiliyah Governorate honoured the participants of '2022 People of Al Dakhiliyah Initiatives' project, which appreciates their efforts and contribution to enriching the governorate with the best ideas and proposals.

Shaikh Hilal bin Said al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, who presided over the

occasion, said: “This is in compliance with the Royal Directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to

allow Omani youth to present their proposals and initiatives and listen to

their ideas in a modern way. The Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah is keen to achieve the goals of

Oman Vision 2040 and is represented in the community partnership through the launch of an

electronic link for presenting the initiatives of the people of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate 2022."

"This approach contributes to activating the role of society and making a difference and

development by presenting constructive ideas that align with the directives of Oman Vision

2040 and strengthening youth attitudes towards leadership, initiatives and community

projects," he added.

There has been excellent cooperation with the government and private agencies to highlight

the initiatives optimally and contribute to their evaluation according to specific criteria and a

clear plan that included several measures taken during the implementation stages of this work.

Five initiatives were chosen in the final stage, which received the highest evaluation. The

Culture Street initiative in Nizwa, presented by Dr Yousef bin Khalifa al Harrasi, came first. The
