Leading fuel marketing company Shell Oman Marketing Company has won a contract to supply 33 per cent of national carrier Oman Air’s jet fuel requirements at Muscat International Airport, for a period of two years, starting from March 1, 2023.

In a filing, Shell Oman said it had received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) on February 27, 2023, of its proposal from Oman Air.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Oman Air for the confidence vested in Shell Oman through this partnership. We certainly look forward to continuing working together to progress and develop Oman's aviation industry and its people,” the fuel marketing company stated.

Currently, there are three local fuel service providers operating at Oman Airports: Shell Oman Marketing Co, Oman Oil Marketing Co, and Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Co.
