Muscat: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister will preside over the final match of His Majesty the Sultan Football Cup for the sport season (2022 – 2023).
The final will be played on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in the Wilayat of Bausher, Governorate of Muscat.
In the first leg of the semi-final of the tournament, Al Seeb Club, reigning champions, will take on Al Suwaiq Club on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Al Seeb Stadium.
In the second fixture to be held on the same day, Al Rustaq Club, the runner-up, will face Al Nahdha Club at Al Rustaq Complex.
In the second leg of the semi-final, Al Nahdha Club will host Al Rustaq Club at Al Buraimi Complex on Saturday, February 25 whereas Al Suwaiq Club will encounter Al Seeb Club at Al Rustaq Complex on Sunday, February 26.
