The Sultanate of Oman did not register a significant increase in murder cases during 2022, Dr. Ahmed al Shukaili, Assistant Public Prosecutor, at the annual conference of the Public Prosecution.
Thirteen murder cases were reported in 2022 and investigations revealed that white weapons were repeatedly used in such crimes.
The Public Prosecution is working in coordination with the competent authority to study the murders and find out their causes.
