

MUSCAT: The 74th Indian Republic Day was celebrated with gaiety and pride by the members of the Indian community residing at Al Mouj Muscat.
Over 100 members of the Indian community took part in a large participating at a private function held at a hotel location in Muscat.
With tri-colour dress code, coupled with Indian breakfast added extra glamour to the event.
Every year on January 26, India and the Indian diaspora all over the globe collectively celebrate her freedom, sovereignty, and when she stood as an independent nation.
The elders distributed Indian traditional sweets and delicacies to children and families celebrating the occasion under one roof.
They enthusiastically sang the National Anthem with children taking the centre stage.
The Republic Day celebrations event ended on a very positive note with some of them singing and dancing to the patriotic Indian songs.
