MUSCAT: The first edition of “Oman Conference for Environmental Sustainability” concluded on Wednesday at a ceremony held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Fahd bin al Julanda al Said, Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University.
The three-day conference saw the participation of experts, scientists and specialists from Oman and abroad. It focused on climate change and air quality.
The conference, held in conjunction with Manafa Initiative, was attended by more than 400 participants from 25 countries.
At the conclusion of the conference, HH Sayyid Fahd honoured the five best scientific presentations at the conference and felicitated the winners of Manafa Initiative’s “Youth Ecothon” members, as well as members of the conference’s scholarly committee. -- ONA
