Jebel Sifah will once again turn into an al fresco hotspot as it will host the legendary Amr Diab for a one-of-a-kind performance on Friday at the Dunes Beach Club.

Fans in Oman can look forward to a live set featuring signature songs from the iconic international singer, while enjoying stunning views at Jebel Sifah.

Known as the ‘King of Arab Pop’, Amr Diab is a best-selling Egyptian singer who has created his own style of music, a blend of Western and Egyptian rhythms. His 1996 signature song “Nour El Ain” gained the groundbreaking artist recognition inside and outside the Arab world.

In fact, Diab’s unique Mediterranean music genre has earned him international recognition throughout his career, including seven World Music Awards and six African Music Awards, as well as a Guinness World Record for most World Music Awards for bestselling Middle Eastern artist.

Organised by Venture Lifestyle, the open-air staged concert is brought to the audience by master developer Muriya, a joint venture between Orascom Development Holding and OMRAN.

Situated between the sea of Oman and Al Hajar Mountains, what better location to hold a performance by the world-famous Amr Diab than at Jebel Sifah, said Karim Boushra, Area Destinations Director at Muriya, adding, “The Dunes Beach Club, one of the newest hotspots at Jebel Sifah has been serving up not just the finest food but also the finest entertainment including a stellar line-up that so far consisted of DJ Rodge and Tamer Hosny to name a few.

The Dunes Beach Club is part of Jebel Sifah, a residential resort community developed by Muriya, a joint venture between Orascom Development Holding, an internationally acclaimed developer, and OMRAN, the leading government arm for tourism development in Oman. Located only 45 kilometres from Muscat, Jebel Sifah is the ultimate weekend getaway from the capital for residents of Muscat who frequently head to the destination.
