Know about fees for forts, heritage sites

Muscat; The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) has issued decision 334/2023, determining the fees for visiting castles and forts historical monuments, visitor centers, and world heritage sites

Castles and forts managed by the private sector and official government delegations and school trips organized by educational institutions are exempted from paying the fees stipulated in Article 1 of this decision.

Fees:

Citizens and GCC nationals (Above 12 years):

Class 1: RO 1

Class 2: 500bz

Citizens and GCC nationals (Ages 6-12):

Class 1: 200bz

Class 2: 200bz

For expatriates (Above 12 years):

Class 1: RO1

Class 2: RO1

For expatriates (Ages 6-12):

Class 1: 500bz

Class 2: 500bz

For tourists (Above 12 years):

Class 1: RO3

Class 2: RO2

For tourists (Ages 6-12):

Class 1: RO1

Class 2: RO1
