BARKA: The equestrian, Mohammed bin Sulaiman al Abdulsalam, was crowned with the title of endurance race for the 2022-2023 season for a distance of 100 km organised by the Oman Equestrian Federation.
The competition included a local race for a distance of 100 km. There were about 42 horses in the local race for a distance of 100 km. The competition also included qualifying 40 km race and an 80 km qualifying race.
The race witnessed strong competition among the participants, as 12 horses reached the finish line out of 42 horses. At the end of the competition, Ahmed bin Saif al Abri, Secretary-General of the Federation, honoured the race champions and those who completed in the first ten spots. The youngest rider in the race, who managed to reach the finish line for a distance of 100 km, was also honoured. — ONA
