Muscat - His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued his special pardon to some prisoners who have been convicted in various cases.
An official source at the Royal Oman Police said that the Royal Pardon was issued to 121 prisoners, including 57 expatriates.
The supreme pardon comes from His Majesty the Sultan on the occasion of Accession Day and out of consideration for the families of these prisoners.
