His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, on Saturday issued a special Royal pardon to a number of prison inmates convicted of different cases.
A source at Royal Oman Police (ROP) said the Royal pardon included 325 prisoners, 141 of them are foreigners.
The Royal pardon is granted by His Majesty, the Supreme Commander, in coincidence with Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) birthday anniversary 1444 AH, taking into consideration the families of the inmates. — ONA
