Muscat: Acting in cooperation with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Omantel is preparing to establish an electronic marketing platform under the name “Omantel Shopping Platform”, which will be a comprehensive online store for companies and individuals wishing to search for, buy and sell innovative goods, services and safely solutions.
The project reflects Omantel's efforts to utilize its global capabilities and partnerships to enhance the contribution of the digital economy to the gross domestic product (GDP). It also seeks to enhance the outreach of Omani small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and improve their competitiveness in global markets in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
Accordingly, Omantel will join hands with AWS to develop “Omantel Shopping Platform”, which will benefit from the services provided by AWS Marketplace.
