Muscat: The second-division handball league competitions for the 2022-23 will conclude on Tuesday under the auspices of Shaikh Ali bin Awad Al Raoud Fadel, Chairman of the Salalah Club at the main hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.
Salalah Club will play the final match with the winner of the play-off match between Ibri and Khasab on Monday at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex and the loser will take the third place.
Eight clubs took part in this edition, including Salalah, Mirbat, Al Ittihad, Saham, Khasab, Ibri, Al Suwaiq and Al Musannah.
The first-place winners will be awarded a commemorative shield, 24 gold medals and a cash reward of RO 3,000 and RO 250 for the team coach. The second-place team will receive 24 silver medals and a cash reward of RO 2,000. The third-place team will receive 24 bronze medals and a cash reward of RO 1,000.
