Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received the chairman and members of the State Council Office at Al-Baraka Palace on Monday.
During his meeting, His Majesty emphasised the importance of enhancing the partnership between the Council of Ministers and the State Council to serve the public interest, and he gave future directions to the state policies, aimed at achieving comprehensive development.
His Majesty commended the efforts of the State Council and the studies it undertakes on a number of issues of interest to the country and citizens. He stressed on the importance of focusing on initiatives and ideas that help in careful planning.
His Majesty stressed the importance of the current stage, which requires concerted efforts and priority to preserve the sustainability of development and achievements, in a way that contributes to supporting the efforts made by the government in implementing development plans and projects.
