Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, met Vivian Balakrishnan, Foreign Minister of Singapore, in Singapore on Monday. The meeting comes within the framework of Sayyid Badr’s visit to Singapore to hold the first strategic dialogue between the two countries. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations explored area of cooperation in the fields of economy, investment and culture. They also exchanged views on a set of regional and international issues of common interests. The meeting was held with the participation of Maj Gen Idris bin Abdulrahman al Kindi, Secretary-General of the National Security Council. It was attended by Khalid bin Hashel al Muslehi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department and Anwar bin Ahmed Muqaibil, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Singapore.
