Muscat: Maj Gen Mattar Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) received on Thursday Rear Admiral Emmanuel Slaars, Commander of the French Forces in the Indian Ocean.
The French officer is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman to attend the practical demonstration of the joint Oman-France drill “Mountain Warrior 2022”. The drill was held at the training ground of RAO at Al Jabal Al Akhdar or the Green Mountain.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed several military matters of mutual interest.
