Calling all Jazz lovers and discerning culture vultures, we are privileged to welcome the Grammy award winning artist, Chris Botti, who has become the best-selling American instrumental artist of all time. Botti’s unique style begins in jazz and expands beyond the limits of any single genre. In concert he is innovative and brilliantly entertaining. (10 & 11 Nov, 7pm).

The month continues with a special new concert showcasing the richness of Omani traditional music, demonstrating the variety of genres from the different regions and corners of Oman. Enjoy a vibrant evening, bright with the cultural history of Oman in Omani Traditional Music. (14 Nov. 7pm)

In the lead up to the opera of the month we invite you to enjoy our second Lunch Music of the season. Enjoy arias from the singers of the Rossini Opera Festival in the informal setting of the Opera Galleria. Free and fantastic! (19 Nov, 11.30)

The Rossini Opera Festival has a reputation for producing Rossini’s repertoire faultlessly. In La Cambiale di Matrimonio a beautiful young woman in love with a penniless young man fights back against her father’s scheme to marry her to a wealthy foreign business associate. Directed by Laurence Dale, conducted by Alessandro Bonato, the production will be sparkling with wit and talent. This is a good opera to begin your relationship with the genre as well as to indulge in the quick lightness of Rossini’s music. (Nov 24 & 26. 7pm & 4pm)

The month draws to a close with the exciting pianist Nikolai Kuznetsov and the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra led by Alessandro Cadario in a collaboration with the world-famous concert hall ‘Salle Gaveau’ of Paris. Don’t miss a dazzling programme of Beethoven and Rachmaninoff. (Nov 28, 7pm. ROHMA)
