RAO Commander receives US Central Special Operations Commander

Muscat: Maj Gen Mattar Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on Monday Maj Gen Kevin Leahy, Commander of the US Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT), currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.


The two sides exchanged views and discussed a range of military topics of common interest.


The meeting was attended by Brigadier Sultan Mohammed al Maamari, Director General of Operations and Intelligence at RAO, senior officers, the Military Attaché at the US Embassy in Muscat and the delegation accompanying the guest.
