

Muscat: Search is continuing to locate the Omani woman who went missing from Izki since October 3, according to the Royal Oman Police.
Hamida bint Hammoud al Amriya, aged 57, who went out on to the local Qur’an memorisation school, did not return home. She was reported missing by her family members the same day.
Combing operations by the Search and Rescue teams of Civil Defence and Ambulances Authority (CDAA), using sniffer dogs could not locate her till the report went to print.
"People in and around the Wilayat are still in the look out for her and social media is abuzz with the request to find her. We have made videos in many Asian languages as well in the hope that she can be found safe soon," said Sulayem al Nabhani, one of her neighbours.
These languages of the video included, besides English and Arabic, Urdu and Bangla aiming at all expatriates to help them locate her.
The ROP has posted the missing person's details on all social media handles while the civilians actively participated with the authorities by posting videos and posters across all platforms in search of the mother of.
The CDAA updated that search was continuing for the missing lady and appealed the members of the society to alert ROP operations number 9999 or 1444 in case the lady is spotted anywhere.
