Training programme for officer candidates begins at police college

Muscat: A training programme for the 47th batch of officer candidates (diploma holders), began at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences (SQAPS), on Sunday.


This is part of courses carried out by Royal Oman Police (ROP) to its affiliates of various educational levels and military ranks. The programme aims to provide higher qualification at the police college through an integrated training system to achieve quality security services.


Officer candidates receive advanced studies related to police work including the preparation of scientific researches that contribute to improving officers’ performance.
