Muscat: Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar paid a visit on Wednesday to the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA), within the framework of his current official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The guest and his accompanying delegation were received by Dr Hamad Mohammed al Dhawyani, Chairman of NRAA.
At the beginning of the visit, President of Zanzibar and his accompanying delegation took note of the NRAA experience in the field of documents and archives.
They were briefed by Dr Al Dhawyani on NRAA national contributions and its role in collecting and preserving the historical memory of the nation according to the best international scientific methods and practices.
The guest and his accompanying delegation also went on tour of the permanent exhibition of the national documents and archives at the NRAA.
