Muscat: Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar visited Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque on Wednesday, within the framework of his current official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
During the visit, he was briefed on the mosque's history, and its Omani and Islamic architectural designs.
He also went on tour of the mosque's facilities, such as Institute of Islamic Sciences, Library and other facilities.
