MUSCAT: Before His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, a number of ambassadors took the oath of office at Al Barakah Palace on Monday.
They were: - Badr bin Mohammed bin Badr al Manthri, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
- HH Sayyid Nizar bin Al Julanda bin Majid al Said, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Italian Republic.
- Maithaa bint Saif bin Majid al Mahrouqiyah, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Germany.
- Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib al Rahbi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
- Hilal bin Abdullah bin Ali al Sinani, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Tunisia.
- Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Said al Saeedi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Lebanese Republic.
- Abdulghafar bin Abdulkarim bin Issa al Balushi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
- Saif bin Nasser bin Rashid al Bada’ei, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
- Ahmed bin Ali bin Said al Rashdi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
- Mahmoud bin Hamad bin Nasser al Hassani, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Swiss Confederation.
- Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Awadh al Nahdi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Cyprus.
- Hamoud bin Salim bin Abdullah al Tuwayah, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation.
- Irma bint Said bin Mohammed al Kathiriyah, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam.
- Ru’aa bint Issa bin Ashraf al Zedjaliyah, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Belgium.
- Sayyid Faisal bin Hareb bin Hamad al Busaidy, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Omar bin Said bin Omar al Kathiri, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Spain.
The oath taking ceremony was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister and Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs. -- ONA
