

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), held a bilateral meeting at Al Alam Palace on Wednesday morning.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the march of deep-rooted relations binding the two countries and means of promoting them. They expressed their keenness to push these relations forward in various spheres to serve interests of the Omani and Emirati peoples.
The meeting was attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs and HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
Meanwhile, it was attended from the Emirati side by Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Court, Shaikh Hamed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan and Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad al Nahyan, Adviser of Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court.
