Muscat - His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates held a fraternal meeting at Al Alam Palace on Wednesday morning.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the course of the deep-rooted historical relations linking the two countries and aspects of close cooperation between them and affirmed their constant aspiration and keenness to push them towards broader horizons in various fields for the benefit, goodness, and development of their two brotherly peoples.
From the Omani side, His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan; His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs; and His Highness Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture Sports and youth.
On the Emirati side, it was attended by Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court.
