Edelweiss Air resumes services from Muscat

Oman Airports welcomed the Swiss-based airline, Edelweiss Air on September 23, which has resumed its services to the Sultanate.


The airline will operate one weekly flight between Zurich and Muscat, according to Oman Airports.


In November 2021, Muscat Airport welcomes the first flight of Edelweiss Air as a part of Oman Airports’ series of initiatives to promote the economy and tourism between Oman and world countries.


Oman Airports said that since the opening of the new passenger terminal at Muscat International Airport, it has been seeking to attract regional and international airlines which are reflected in the growing demand by both passengers and airlines to Muscat station driven by Muscat Airport’s comprehensive services.


Swiss Edelweiss Airline has four Airbus A340-313 airplanes for long-haul routes and ten Airbus A320s for short and medium-haul routes.
