Muscat: The 6th edition of the training programme “Seeds for the Future 2022” kicked off in Muscat on Thursday. The programme, organised in partnership between the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Omantel and Huawei aims to hone the technical skills of students.
As many as 30 students from are participating in the programme. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The programme seeks to sharpen skills in information technology, encourage knowledge-transfer, and expand understanding of the technology sector. Participants get exposure to the latest developments in 5G, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of things (IoT). — ONA
