MUSCAT: National Bank of Oman (NBO) has added important new features to its Full Function Machines (FFMs). For the first time in Oman, customers can now deposit bulk cash of up to 300 notes, and up to 15 cheques to themselves or any other NBO account-holder. Customers can also use a host of other functions like electricity, water and telephone bill payments, school fee payments, mobile top ups and card services, available 24/7 and at 37 different locations across Oman.

Tariq Atiq, Chief Retail Banking and Digital Banking Officer at NBO, said, “At NBO we want banking to be a simple and seamless experience. To cater to the increasing demand for digital, we continue to upgrade our services with the latest technologies and most useful functions. Our FFMs now offer bulk cash and cheque deposits, giving customers an easy and convenient way to carry out their transactions at a location and time that suits them, without having to visit a branch.”

In addition to over 180 ATM/FFM/CCDMs across Oman and a multi-purpose kiosk, NBO encourages customers to take advantage of its internet banking platforms, mobile app, pay+ mobile wallet, and the Merchant app, all of which are constantly upgraded with the latest and most useful features like account opening, mobile-to-mobile payments, and payments by QR Code. Meanwhile, NBO continues to build on its portfolio of user-friendly solutions and make the banking experience more accessible, seamless, and altogether convenient.
