Muscat: A citizen died of drowning in Wadi Darbat on Monday, according to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA)

According to CDAA, he was taken to the hospital but his life couldn't be saved.

CDAA called on visitors to Dhofar not to swim near waterfalls and beaches to avoid unfortunate drowning accidents.

Oman Meteorology has warned that tropical depressions are often accompanied by heavy rains, active winds, and high sea waves, which can pose dangerous situations in short periods at popular tourist places such as wadis and beaches.
