Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has opened the road leading to the Wadi Darbat area.

"Re-opening the movement on the road leading to Darbat area, please adhere to the general safety requirements on the site, be safe," ROP said in a statement.

On Thursday, due to heavy rains and the high water level at Wadi Darbat in the Dhofar Governorate, ROP closed the road leading to Wadi Darbat Park until further notice.

The decision was taken considering the safety of the visitors.
