

MUSANNAH: The Cultural Committee of the Abu Abali Al Sahel team in the Wilayat of Al Musannah is holding a programme of the Summer Centre for Learning and Memorising the Holy Quran. Their vision is to develop children's abilities and refine their talents. About 230 boys and girls between the ages of 5-14 years old have joined the summer programme which began in July and continues till August 28.
The programme includes interactive educational workshops, such as reciting and memorising Juz Amma and Juz Tabarak, the Beautiful Names of Allah and their meanings. The programme also focuses on provisions of recitation and intonation, alphabets and simple words, numbers, understanding the meanings of Quranic verses, prayers and its etiquette.
Moreover, teaching public etiquette and learning first aid are included in this programme. The training and follow-up processes are supervised by several teachers and administrators specialised in each field, taking into account the age differences between the participating children.
The importance of the summer centres, spread over various governorates during this time of the year, is to enrich the children's vacation time and develop their interest and talents.
