Sayyid Louay qualified for World Endurance Championship

International jockey HH Sayyid Louay bin Ghalib al Said qualified for the World Endurance Championship after he came second in the German Strohn Race.


Sayyid Louay qualified for various distances to represent the Sultanate of Oman in the World Championship in coordination and cooperation with the Oman Equestrian Federation


The jockey was able to finish all four stages of the race on horse "Elsa" in his second participation in the European Championships. He was unsuccessful in his first participation in the first race in France after his horse was injured forcing him out of that race.


The Strohn race witnessed the participation of a group of jockeys in various races in two days, during which Sayyid Louay chose to participate in the 108 km one star race in order to qualify for the competition. The race stages were for a distance of 33 km in the first stage, 33 in the second stage, 21 km in the third stage and 21 in the fourth and final stage.
